The Great Water Odyssey

Parents your student can have fun while learning with the St. Johns River Water Management District water education webpage.  It is filled with games that children can play online and learn all about The Great Water Odyssey.  This has always been an educational resource on the City's website, we thought this would be a great time to showcase it to our parents who are struggling to find educational resources for their children during this social distancing. Check it out at http://www.sjrwmd.com/education/odyssey/

Teachers and Home School Parents: The program is correlated with Florida Standards, provides an engaging, hands-on and fun learning experience while developing an awareness of Florida's fragile water resources. This program provides teachers background information on water science and has a downloadable Odyssey Educator's Manual which contains resources to help you explore water topics with your students, including quizzes, background information, supplemental activities and a list of Florida Standard.

If you need any assistance with the program during this social distancing or once it is over if you are interested in any classroom presentations or assistance please contact Tyna Lynn Hilton, Environmental Services Administrator at thilton@cityofedgewater.org or by phone at 386-424-2400 x4006.
