Planned Precautionary Boil Water Notice-Terra Mar Village at 4311 S. Ridgewood Avenue-Monday, July 14, 2025
The Public Works Water Distribution Division will be doing a planned water shut down for all of Terra Mar Village located at 4311 S. Ridgewood Avenue. This is scheduled for Monday, July 14, 2025 starting at 9:00am to 11:00am. The Division will be replacing a fire hydrant at the corner of Oak Street and Maple Avenue. Due to the installation of the new fire hydrant on a 6 inch AC water line, per regulations and as a precaution the city will issue a planned Boil Water Notice for Terra Mar Village. Due to the break in water service during the installation of the fire hydrant, we advise that all water used for drinking, cooking, making ice, brushing teeth, or washing dishes be boiled. A rolling boil of one minute is sufficient. As an alternative bottle water may be used.
This "Planned PRECAUTIONARY BOIL WATER NOTICE" will remain in effect until a bacteriological survey shows the water is safe to drink. All affected areas will be notified by a "RESCIND NOTICE" when the water is safe to drink.
