Join us for a discussion about the future vision of Edgewater!

Edgewater citizens and stakeholders are invited to join City Staff and representatives from the planning consultant team to provide feedback on the current concerns and future direction of the City, with a focus on land development, community spaces, and streets.

Make sure your voice is heard!

Participants will have the opportunity to provide input on desired outcomes of various development and redevelopment opportunities that enhance community assets, promote “placemaking,” and shape the identity of the City.

Do you know what’s happening around the City?

  • Secured over $16 million in grants for stormwater and canal improvements to reduce flooding.
  • Completed improvements to three city parks (Lake & Alice Neighborhood, Rotary and Menard May).
  • New boat ramp being planned on the Indian River (south of Hacienda Del Rio).
  • Extending reclaimed water access to conserve potable water and reducing the number of dirt roads to improve water quality.
  • Improvements to improve resilience to severe weather (YMCA, Water and Wastewater Plants).
  • Improvements to police department facilities and equipment and establishment of Citizen’s Academy.
