Councilman Jonah Powers was elected in November 2020 to serve a four year term as the representative of District 4. He is a 5th generation Edgewater resident. He graduated from the Baptist College of Florida in 2017 with a Bachelors of Arts degree in Ministry Studies. He married his wife, Sheila, in 2018. He and Sheila enjoy spending time together, especially outside in our lovely parks, at City events and in and around the Intracoastal Waterway. He loves the beauty and hometown feel of Edgewater. The City of Edgewater is more than just a "place" but a community of individuals who make it what it is - the best place to live!
