Impact Fee Reduction Based on Jobs Created or Development of Industrial Properties
The Ordinance establishes the policy for the reduction of applicable sidewalk, fire/EMS, police and transportation/road impact fees based on jobs created for non-residential new development and redevelopment. The program will allow for the reduction those certain Impact Fees at a rate of $2,000 for each Full Time Equivalent (FTE) job created at the completion of the project. Additionally, any structure over 10,000 square feet and located in an Industrial Zoned area shall have all Transportation/Road Impact Fees waived. (Ordinance 2012-O-03) (expires September 30, 2014)

Deferring of Impact Fees for Non-Residential Projects
The Ordinance establishes the policy for the deferring of applicable sidewalk, fire/EMS, police and transportation/road impact fees for non-residential new development and redevelopment. The program will allow for the deferral of the impact fees for a period up to three (3) years with a 5% interest fee. (Ordinance 2010-O-17) (expires September 30, 2014)

Pledge of Fill Material for ParkTowne Development
The Resolution permits the use of fill material from the Florida Inland Navigational District (F.I.N.D.) for the development of projects within the ParkTowne Industrial Center. Each eligible project could receive up to 750 cubic yards of fill material for each Full Time Equivalent (FTE) job created at the completion of the project. (Resolution 2010-R-07)

Waiving of Annexation Fees for Residential & Non-Residential Zoned Properties
This Resolution allows for the waiving of the Annexation, Comprehensive Plan Map Amendment and Zoning Map Amendment fees for residential and non-residential zoned properties desiring to be annexed into the City of Edgewater. Eligible properties will have the referenced fees waived. (Resolution 2010-R-12) (expires September 30, 2014)

Designating Properties as the "Edgewater Redevelopment Area"(ERA)
This Ordinance allows for various incentives for the redevelopment and rehabilitation of abandoned or underused commercial and industrial areas. It is for the purpose of environmental remediation, rehabilitation and economic development. (Ordinance 2010-O-07)
